K-Rock Winnipeg Updates

The city is about to get rocked! With Winnipeg’s New Home of World Class Rock: K-Rock 100.7 FM!

Winnipeg-July 6th, 2010 – Winnipeg will wake up this morning to a new sound, with the launch of K-Rock 100.7!  The notoriously outrageous and irreverent, “Bob & Tom Show” will in the hitting the airwaves this morning – UNCENSORED! With a foundation built around comedy and talk, “The Bob and Tom Show” features news, sports, lifestyle content, and celebrity interviews with an edge!

But it doesn’t stop there. K-Rock has more in store for Winnipeg. A city with a rich history of rock ‘n roll, deserves a radio station that reflects the incredible wealth of the past 50 years of rock music.  On the new K-Rock 100.7, you’ll hear the superstars of classic rock including Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Neil Young, and Van Halen.  But you will also have the chance to hear the pillars of rock ‘n roll. Especially blues music, from legends like John Lee Hooker, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Howlin’ Wolf, Muddy Waters, and Eric Clapton.  The new K-Rock 100.7 will also feature music from historic artists like Bob Dylan, Pete Seeger, Steve Earle, and other artists who helped change the world with their message.  World Class Rock will not be limited to the narrow definition of classic rock. But instead expand musical horizons, to encompass the past, present, and future.
